- You have two options (that I know about, there are probably more) that
- I can think of right off the top of my head.
-
- 1. Get a program called Screen Wizard from Aminet. It's in the
- file called "scrwiz11.lha" in the util/cdity directory.
- This program allows you to set up public screens for any
- program that you want to. It runs in the background, and when
- you start up one of the programs that you configured it for,
- Screen Wizard takes over and automatically opens a public
- screen for it before the application starts up. It also has
- a preferences program that's used to set up the various screen
- mode parameters.
-
- 2. Get MUI version 3.1 from Aminet. It's in the following files:
-
- "mui31usr.lha" and "mui31dev.lha" in the dev/gui dir
-
- This version allows better control over the screens you use
- for certain programs. Also, register it, because the
- unregistered version does not allow you to save all your
- setup parameters. I've heard numerous reports that
- people have been waiting a long time for registered versions.
- I've been experimenting with version 3.1 and am considering
- it. Much improved over version 2.3.
-
- As I said before, there's probably more options than what I've listed
- above. But these are the two that I have used, and they both work for
- me. Hope this helps!
